April 16th-20th: Registration Week and "The Reaping"
Place your completed registration form in your district's box. All boxes are located in the cafeteria. The Reaping will take place on Friday, the 20th. One student from each district will win a prize!
April 23rd-27th: "Caught in the Act" NJ ASK Week
Show your love of reading this week, and if "caught in the act," you will receive a raffle ticket for the next prize drawing!
April 30- May 4th: District Color Week
On Wednesday, May 2nd, the homeroom in each grade that has the most students wearing the district color (Yellow-6th, Red-7th, Blue-8th) will win a bagel breakfast!
May 7th-11th: Blog Week
Respond to your district's blog question for the week. Prizes will be awarded to a winner in each district.
May 14th-18th: Bumper Sticker
Create a bumper sticker for your novel and let your classmates know what they should read next! Winners will earn a prize. Template for the bumper stickers can be obtained in the Media Center.
May 21st-25th: Book Print
Enter the names of the five most influential books you have read on the Scholastic website and check out the lists of celebrities, famous authors, professional athletes and kids like you! Then, pick up a hand print in the media center and label each finger with each of the five novels and be entered into the drawing for this week's prize!

May 29th-June 1st: Victory Tour and Battle of the Books
Battle of the Book Competition between The Hunger Games and Harry Potter. Also, we will be choosing grand prize winners for their outstanding participation in "The Reading Games!"
